Positive: The owner Raja Yahya Khan is a wonderful host. So are his mum and dad, and their servant. The interior deco of the spacious room and large living room are beautiful. This place is cozy. Close to Gilgit Town. Raja Yahya Khan also offer airport transfer. He has provided me a scenic ride with stops for filming short videos all the way to Sost, the last town before Xinjiang, Far West China. I will be crossing the Khunjerab Pass, the world's highest border crossing at 15,000 ft into Tashkurgan and Kashgar in Xinjiang. I will be coming to Raja Yahya Khan for his guided tours and hikes of the Gilgit-Balistan region after my 2 months in Far West China. His mum and sis cook very well.
Negative: Nothing.
Summary: Highly recommended for stay in Gilgit and tours and hikes with the owner Raja Yahya Khan.

Positive: As soon as you step foot into Serene guest house you are made to feel instantly at home. By far the nicest accommodation I've stayed at during my 9 weeks in Pakistan. I decided to extend my stay for an extra five days. Tranquil gardens, hot showers, delicious fresh authentic food, large airy rooms and the most genuine hospitable family you could ever wish to meet. I did several day trips which were superb and excellent value for money. Everything was simply perfect

Positive: The property has totally exceeded my expectations as is in very quiet location and has a large bedroom and a massive living extremely tastefully decorated-you feel like you are in a palace.all you need is there-all toiletries,towel and amenities required including drinking water.it was a pleasure meeting Yahya,the owner of the property which looked after me very well as is a local and super helpful and knowledgeable,as well he can provide you with tailored tours based on your needs .I was touched and very surprised as based per the Gilgit hospitality he offered me breakfast which was nice and tastefull(despite not been included in the price).For sure Pakistan has a lots to offer but generosity and the kindness are in their blood and is at the base of their culture which is almost forgotten in the western world.For sure I will stay again here as I felt at home and I did gained another friend in my life.Thank you for an amazing time and may Allah bless your heart,house and your business!
